በአማርኛ ቋንቋ ኢ-አፍፈት የሆኑ ተማሪዎች ድርሰት ሲፅፉ የሚፈፅሟቸው ስነልሳናዊ ስህተቶች ፍተሻ (በኦሮሚያ ክልል በሰሜን ሸዋ ዞን የ9ኛና 10ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ተተኳሪነት)

Abstract

ይህ ጥናት ያተኮረው በአማርኛ ቋንቋ ኢ-አፍፈት የሆኑ ተማሪዎች ድርሰት ሲፅፉ የሚፈፅሟቸው ስነልሳናዊ ስህተቶች ፍተሻ (ኦሮሚያ ክልል በሰሜን ሸዋ ዞን የ9ኛና 10ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ተተኳሪነት) በሚል ርእስ በሚሰራው ጥናት ላይ ነው፡፡ በዞኑ ውስጥ  በአራት ወረዳዎች የሚማሩ በአማርኛ ኢአፍ ፈት የሆኑ ሁልት መቶ ኣርባ (240)ተማሪዎች እና በየትምህርት ቤቱ ኣማርኛን የሚያስተምሩ ስምንት(8) መምህራን እንዲሳተፉ ተደርጓል፡፡ የዚህ ጥናት ዋና ዓላማ ባሁኑ ወቅት በአማርኛ ቋንቋ አፋቸውን ያልፈቱ የአማርኛ ቋንቋን የሚማሩ ተማሪዎች የሚፈፅሙት ከጽኅፈት ጋር የተያያዙ ስህተቶችን ነቅሶ በማውጣት ላይ ያትኮረ ነው፡፡  ጥናቱ መጠናዊ እና ኣይነታዊ የኣጠናን ዘዴዎች በመቀየጥ የተጠቀመ ሲሆን የኣጠናን ስልቱም ቅኝታዊ ገላጭ ነው፡፡ መረጃዎች የተሰበሰቡት፤ ተጠኚ ተማሪዎችን አንቀጽ በማጻፍ ስህተቶችን ነቅሶ በማውጣት፣ የጽሁፍ መጠይቆችን በማስሞላት፣ ተማሪዎችን እና መምህራንን ቃለ መጠይቅ በመጠየቅ እና የቡድን ወይይት በማከናወን ነው፡፡ በሁሉም መረጃ መሰብሰቢያዎች የተገኘው መረጃ እንደሚያመለክተው ተጠኚ ተማሪዎች ከፍተኛ የሆነ የጽህፈት ችግር ኣለባቸው፡፡ የኣናባቢ እና የተነባቢን ጥምረት በተገቢው መንገድ ኣይጠቀሙም፣ ቃላትን በኣውዳቸው ያለመጠቀም፣ ሰዋስዋዊ ስህተቶች እና በርካታ ተማሪዎች ምንም መጻፍ ኣለመቻል ታይቶባቸዋል፡፡ በጽህፈት ወቅት የሚፈጸሙ ስህተቶች ተግባቦት ከማወክም አልፈው ምን ለማለት እንደተፈለገ ፍቺውን መረዳት የሚያዳግቱ ወይም ወዳልተፈለገ ተግባቦት የሚያደርሱ ናቸው፡፡ ስለዚህ የአማርኛው ቋንቋ ትምህርት በመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ላይ ትኩረት ተሰጥቶት በጥሩ ሁኔታ የሚሰጥበትን በማመቻቸት፤ በቋንቋው የሚማሩ ተማሪዎችም የስነልሳን እና የክሂል ትምህርቶችን በተለየ ሁኔታ በጥልቀት እና በዝርዝር እንዲማሩ ቢደረግ ችግሩ በከፍተኛ መጠን ሊቀንስ ይችላል፡፡ በቋንቋውም በተገቢው ሁኔታ ሊገለገሉበት ይችላሉ፡፡

An examination of linguistic errors among Amharic Second Language Learners in Amharic Essay Writing; the case of grade 9 and 10 Students of North Shoa Zone, Oromia Region.

Abstract

 This study focused on the study titled “Determining the linguistic errors made by grade 9 and 10 students who are second language learner of Amharic when writing essays. In the study two hundred and forty (240) students and eight (8) teachers who teach Amharic in each school participated from four woredas (Wuchale, Girar jarso, Fiche & Debre Libanos). The study used a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods (mixed approach) and the research design was descriptive. The data were collected; the students were assessed by writing paragraphs, filling out written questionnaires, interviewing students and teachers, and conducting group discussions. The data collected from all data collection sites indicated that the students had significant writing difficulties. They did not use the correct combination of vowels and Consonant, used words out of context, made grammatical errors, and even many students were unable to write at all. These writing errors not only hinder communication but also make it difficult to understand the meaning of what was meant or lead to unwanted communication. Therefore, by ensuring that Amharic language education is given priority at the primary level and is well-taught; give due emphasis to develop students linguistic and as their writing and speaking skill in depth and in detail, the problem can be greatly reduced. They can used the language appropriately.
